SEIDCON participated in the U.S. Army/AFCEA LandWarNet Conference held August 17 - 21, 2009 at Fort Lauderdale, Florida. SEIDCON corporate officers showcased and explained SEIDCONs capabilities in Information Assurance, Security Engineering, IT services, Modeling & Simulation and R&D to a large number of conference participants from ARMY commands around the world. The US Army is a significant customer for SEIDCON.

Recent Contract Awards

SEIDCON is part of a team headed by Calibre Systems which was recently awarded a contract by the US Army Engineering and Support Center located in Huntsville, Alabama, a major subordinate command under the US Army Corps of Engineers, to support the development and implementation of the Army Meter Data Management System. The award calls for the CALIBRE team to track, record, and report energy consumption at US Army facilities for the contract term. The primary purpose for utility metering of individual facilities is to establish energy consumption accountability. The Huntsville Center is responsible for managing the execution of the Army metering program, and is available to support other Federal agencies in their compliance with the Energy Policy Act of 2005 (EPAct 2005 -Public Law 109-58) using this same contract. The Huntsville Center solicited this acquisition on a competitive basis. The Center’s Energy Branch includes programs that provide expertise to eliminate energy waste, increase energy efficiency, reduce dependence on fossil fuels, conserve water resources, and improve energy security in support of the Department of Defense and other federal agencies. SEIDCON provides Information Assurance and Security Engineering support to the project.

SEIDCON is the Managing Partner of the Alliant Across America Information Services (A3IS), LLC Joint Venture. A3IS was recently awarded a 5 year GSA Alliant Small Business contract to provide a wide range of information technology (IT) services to federal government agencies. This contract is an IDIQ GWAC and has a $15 billion ceiling in value for all task orders issued under all the Alliant SB contracts awarded. The contract is available to all federal Government agencies to obtain full spectrum IT services support.

The National Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve recently presented SEIDCON the Patriotic Employer Award for contributing to national security and protecting liberty and freedon by supporting employee participation in Aermica's National Guard and Reserve Force.
